I have been trying (okay, not too hard, and not even every year) for more than 25 years to find OCR that worked at any price, and this does the job.

For four bucks.

On super-clear type, scanned at 600 ppi, I admit.

But still.

I am amazed, and I was primed to be underwhelmed. (Why should this day be different from all the other days, going back 27 years?)

The state of the art is at long last acceptable.
